(Washington D.C. – July 9, 2002)  The Sustainable Energy Coalition, in partnership with the House and Senate RENEWABLE ENERGY and ENERGY EFFICIENCY Caucuses, is having its sixth Annual Clean Energy Expo.  High-tech energy efficient and renewable energy technology leaders will exhibit on July 9^th, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., in the Cannon Caucus Room of the Cannon House Office Building on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.  Members of Congress, including Senator Wayne Allard of Colorado, and Representatives Zachary Wamp of Tennessee and Mark Udall of Colorado, will address the EXPO at 10:00 a.m. There will be VIP tours for Members of Congress and the press following the press conference. 

The EXPO will provide an opportunity for members of Congress, Congressional staff, federal agency officials, and news media representatives to learn about these technology advancements directly from the leaders in the industry and answer such questions as:  How much do these technologies cost?  How much energy do they save or produce?  Are they currently in the market?  What are the economic and environmental benefits of these technologies?  The Expo promises to be a solution-packed event, timed perfectly with conference on the House and Senate energy bils.  These clean energy technologies can show us the range of options that can be used throughout the country to help deal with our energy needs.
