Members Of The U.S. Senate Renewables & Energy Efficiency Caucus The Senate Renewables and Energy Efficiency Caucus was officially established in May 1998 by Senator Wayne Allard (R-CO) as a bipartisan forum for disseminating information about energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. Founding members were Senators Wayne Allard, Jeff Bingaman (D-NM), and Tim Johnson (D-OR). The caucus was modeled after the House Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Caucus and does not advocate or sponsor specific legislation or policy positions. Senate Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Caucus Mission Statement: We strive to increase awareness of the various forms of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies in the United States. As a bipartisan group of Senators representing all parts of the country, this Caucus does not take positions on any issues or legislation. SENATE RENEWABLE ENERGY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY CAUCUS
